Every now and then the urge becomes an obsession so the cobwebs are blown from the cannon. Whilst not trophy hunters we appreciate knowing who or what is coming to dinner so plans are made and hunt is on for quality meat. We have found the Tongariro team excellent for getting us on to quality meat animals but the air is cold for us Northlanders so the Tuatara jacket is ideal for shedding the wet and blends well into the background.

It is a very good jacket especially in the rain and wind it keeps the water off so much better than any other jacket I have ever worn. The hood also keeps all the wind out it does not let the wind go through you and it’s keeps you warm but it also breathes which is amazing. Most jackets like this don’t breathe and the chest pocket is amazing for having my phone close to me as well as it’s big and lots of space. It’s not all small and tight to put your phone in like most jacket pockets and the the pockets below are awesome as they are big and amazing to hold anything you may need.

Brought this jacket a couple of years back and love it. Works well in the wet bush and have also used for hours on end standing in the rain trout fishing during the winter. Recommend.

Great jacket just purchased it for my 2021 tahr trip on the west coast it was great in the wind, snow, and rain kept me dry and warm.

Absolutely s**t hot jacket! One of the best on the market for for water resistance against breathability and vent ability against arguably the most important thing when backpack hunting weight. Also very appropriate pockets.

It keeps me dry it breathes well its lightweight it drys fast and it’s reasonably quiet in the tight bush. Would definitely buy again.

I have had this Jacket for a couple of months now and it hasn't let me down. It is extremely waterproof as well as very breathable. I would highly recommend this jacket to any NZ hunter.

I used the Stillwater Jacket on a recent trip into Pureora Forest. It kept me dry, as well as being nice and quiet in the bush. Also seemed to breath quite well. It packed down quite small and wasnt too heavy in my pack.

Used the Stillwater several times now in the rain when I got caught out glassing. Super impressed with how comfy and quiet it is. Excellent as a wind break if your trying cut down weight on your cold weather gear. Being a softer fabric I thought it wouldn’t repel water as well as it does but it’s been my go to rain jacket now for a while. The other thing that surprised me was the weight. I was expecting it to be a little heavier for the size of it. I really like the hood design as well making sure it covers your whole face but doesn’t restrict you in any way. You still have full free movement to turn and talk or even use your mobile in the rain.

This is the perfect hunting jacket if you intend on hunting in sup par conditions. It folds up into it self and it relatively light for what it is. Its super waterproof and the fabric is quiet in the bush. Fantastic bit of kit.

The Stillwater Jacket has been one of my most used jackets for three reasons, super waterproof, brushed outer fabric making me quiet when in the bush and available in camo.
Now available in Tuatara Camo, a jacket can't get much better for all round hunting use.
