    DESCRIPTION

    Crafted from a high performance ACTIVE shell fabric, you'll gain the crucial performance edge thanks to the industry leading new EMPEL™ molecular water repellent technology which is 10x better at defending the initial exposure to rain and will keep you and your layering system dryer and lighter for longer. This new Rainwear reigns supreme in the lightweight division, boasting an explosive 27,287mm waterproof rating, super comfortable active 2-way stretch and a world leading breathability rating of 42,246g/m2/24hrs – giving your internal layering system's micro-climate maximum comfort and helps to regulate your core temperature throughout the active hunt.

    MATERIALS & CARE

    Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, close all zips including pocket zips. Use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent and gentle wash at a temperature below 40º Celsius. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment. Warm tumble dry, or line dry after washing.

    Care after every use: Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, or sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully DRY before you store it away. Ensure that the environment where you store your garments is in a dry damp-free place. Ensure rainwear items are hanging up and not stored in a cram bag or screwed up in a heap.

    I searched a very long time for a womens raincoat that could preform the way The Nitz does. This jacket seriously has all the features you could want the Stretch just makes it so comfortable to wear at times I forget I'm actually wearing a raincoat. Superior breathability levels, its lightweight & packable but still able stand up to a decent period of time in the hills in less than ideal weather. Hands down THE best womens raincoat on the market

    This jacket is superior. My go-to jacket when I know i'm going to be doing a lot of walking, the material is extremely lightweight and yet, its ability to withstand extreme wind and showers is one of the best.

    Great jacket, however an advertising patch has been put on the inside of the jacket around shoulder blade level, which is not breathable. I came back from a walk in the drizzle this morning to find that I had a damp patch, in this location, which was disappointing. I did contact StoneyCreek to give feedback and the response was not helpful.

Glad to hear you like the jacket and for getting in touch to pass on your feedback re the garment identity patch inside. We totally hear what you are saying, and although we are confident that this label does not compromise the overall performance and comfort of your jacket, we do understand that adding any extra print/labels inside can add to the jacket and in that small area prevent the fabric from performing to its full extent. This is the tradeoff we sometimes need to make with internal garment labels, and we really appreciate your feedback and will do our best to keep these as small and discrete as possible. In saying that, we also definitely recommend when you are wearing any active rainwear and in active situations (e.g. hiking/climbing hills) where your body naturally builds up heat, moisture and sweat, that you wear good quality breathable and moisture wicking base layers that will actively help speed up any internal moisture transferring process from your skin and spread this to outer layers. Once again, thank you for your review, feedback and trust you will continue to enjoy using your new Nitz Jacket out in the hills.
